We've just launched another official election results stock, OFFICIAL.NAT.OTH, which completes the set of all possible National seat outcomes from official election results and allows us to launch a bundle, BUNDLE.NATOFFICIAL.
This bundle contains OFFICIAL.NAT.NC, OFFICIAL.NAT.L1, OFFICIAL.NAT.L2, and OFFICIAL.NAT.OTH and covers every possible official election results outcome

How come all the old bundles are still listed?
Is US$1 billion=$1,000,000,000,000 or $1,000,000,000? Thanks.
Just a reminder, I think you should remove the closed bundled stocks from the bundles list.
I'm pretty sure US $1 billion is $1,000,000,000 i.e. 9 zeros.
Yea, the site is starting to fall apart :-) the bundles are old, they haven't closed the labour leader stock and the "who will win 2011?" stock sits in the "Election 2008" section
I think there is a major problem in regard to the wording of the GM bailout. The contract says "For the purposes of this contract, a bail out will be deemed to have occurred if the US Government approves a transfer of at least US$5 billion to General Motors". However, it also says "President Bush to bail out General Motors". President Bush's administration ends on the 20th January 2009. If the US government decides to bailout GM when Obama takes over on the 20 January 2009, will the contract still deemed true!? Thanks.
GM bailout doesn't have that problem, it closes 21 Jan 2009 so is clearly meant to expire at the time of the inauguration that day. If a bailout occurs on 23 Jan under Obama, it doesn't count. The fun will be when they pass a loan guarantee, which is not a bailout as no transfer occurs, yet some people may think it should count when it doesn't. That's why I short sold.
they only have to "approve" of a transfer prior to the 21st, not perform the act of a transfer?
Hi all,
In repsonse to some questions:
1. Old bundles are still being listed, a fix for this is in the works, should be done early this week
2. 'Election 2008' error is fixed
3. Billion = 1,000,000,000, will clarify in the contract
4. The GM bailout contract is clear that it is Bush that must bailout GM, not Obama, and as Txkiwi noted 21 January was selected as the last day (in New Zealand) Bush can sign a bailout into law
5. jc - yes, "approve" was specifically selected to avoid the problem of the exact timing of transfers. A cut off date of 1 Jan 2010 was selected to address the problem of putting a total number on an ongoing subsidy.
Hi, could you also clarify what constitutes an agreement for MAORI.NAT.
"This contract will be judged when an agreement has been reached or the first day Parliament sits, whichever comes first."
Parliament sits on the 8th December, so do we need to see something like acts agreement for this to be judged?
Ie, if no formal agreement is reached by or on the 8th of December, will MAORI.NAT.NOARG win?
Thanks
like thes one? http://img.scoop.co.nz/media/pdfs/0811/NationalMaori_Party_agreement.pdf
Hamish, we consider a signed agreement sufficient. Media report an agreement was signed yesterday and based on that the contracts have closed.
official results are in. When will the 2008 election stocks be closed? Can we expect to see some new stocks opened in the next couple of weeks?
